For your reading pleasure...
If you find yourself in need of any reading during the next three days you probably have left of break, may I suggest Strange Pilgrims by Gabriel Garcia Marquez a collection of short stories by Mr One Hundred Years of Solitude. They’d be good for someone who wants to say they’ve read GGM, but doesn’t want to commit to a novel.  Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far On Foot...

Bye.
I’m off to the Oregon Coast for four days. Not bringing a computer, but you can expect some cell phone photos of sunsets and whatnot while I’m there, and maybe a story once I’m back. Hope everyone’s still doing well out there on the Internet. See you on the flip side.

Day 2 of Christmas Break, realize you didn't bring...
panic for a second before you remember that you never wear pants anyway. Throw on some thick tights, legwarmers, boots, call it good until the stores open for cheap post-holiday sales.

Just had a perfect night at Haven.
During which I reconnected with a friend I haven’t seen in years (since high school in fact) During which I returned to Haven with my coworker and we shared an espresso/chocolate chip cookie with tobacco ice cream. (surprisingly tasty) During which Adam and Eric got along swimmingly with said coworker. During which the waiters were hot AND friendly. During which I drank a little too...

It's 11 00PM...
and I’m done for the night. This is the first time this has happened since before I can remember. I’m going to get into my pajamas and glasses and read some chapters of Big Sur until I fall asleep. Or maybe I’ll just go straight to sleep. Either way, I have to be up at six thirty tomorrow morning, but it’s fine, because I’m going to be rested. Finally.
