Last week, Amazon ran a special suggesting that their customers use independent bookstores to find books they wanted, scan the ISBNs, and then send that information to Amazon, earning them a $5 discount on their order.
Scummy.
So here’s an article written by someone a mite more articulate than me, but just as angry. And if you haven’t finished your Christmas shopping, go give a local store some business. They could definitely use it.
